The scarecrows are back in Cambria.
The October Scarecrow Festival is underway, with a couple hundred handmade sculptures and stuffed scarecrows along the streets of Cambria.
Some of the statues celebrate el Dia de Los Muertos. Others celebrate surfing, pirates and mermaids.
The scarecrows will be up through Halloween, October 31st.
