Rainbow flags the object of controversy at Paso Robles high school today. Some students removed a rainbow flag from a classroom, took it to a restroom and vandalized it.
That led to a lecture from Curt Dubost about the appropriate size of rainbow flags and the appropriate behavior toward the symbols of gay pride for the LGBQT community.
KPRL learns that the high school now has a trans sexual student who is using the girls restroom, although he’s a boy.
At Lewis middle school, a girl is using the boys restroom because she identifies as a boy.
As for yesterday’s professional development day, about a dozen staff members reported to the district office for their annual CPR training, but found no mannequins or first responders to teach a CPR course. The administration apparently neglected to invite anyone. The staff people were told to go online and take the course, and the district would reimburse each of them.
