The Atascadero Zoo kicks off its Spring Festival. The festival includes late-morning animal feeding which are open to the public.
For instance, today meerkats will be fed at 11. One or two meerkats will be look outs during the feeding.
Tomorrow, the Malayan tiger will be fed at eleven.
Thursday, the American alligator will be fed at eleven.
And then Friday, the red pandas will be fed.
So, if you go to the zoo this week, you can watch one of those animals being fed.
The zoo is also showing off some of its new baby animals born recently, including porcupines, a roadrunner and four radiated tortoises.
