A double-barreled congressional campaign visits Atascadero’s republican headquarters yesterday. Jeff Gorman, who is running against congressman Jimmy Panetta. And Dr. Brad Allen, who is challenging congressman Salud Carbajal. They campaigned together at a noon time meeting at republican headquarters.
Jeff Gorman is running against congressman Jimmy Panetta in the 19th congressional district. It’s a newly drawn congressional district, but a lot of it was represented previously by congressman Jimmy Panetta. The north county is a new part of the district.
Congressman Salud Carbajal’s new district does not include the north county in the future. He’s challenged by Dr. Brad Allen, a pediatric cardiologist from Summerland. Allen also has a small business in skin care with his wife, Jaclyn Smith, the former Charlies Angel star. We’ll hear from Dr. Brad Allen tomorrow here on KPRL.
