President Joe Biden’s staff says he’s going to visit the central coast tomorrow to examine the storm damage. The white house did not specify which communities the president would visit.
His plans are vague at this point, but he may be going to Santa Cruz, which suffered extensive damage in some areas.
On Saturday, president Biden approved a major disaster declaration for Santa Cruz, Sacramento and Merced counties.
Yesterday, congressman Salud Carbajal and newly elected assembly member Dawn Addis surveyed damage in Morro Bay and Los Osos.
