A big turn out Saturday for a drive through BBQ fundraiser for Kenny Enny, who is running for Paso Robles school board.
The retired marine corps Lt. Colonel says parents in Paso Robles are concerned about disturbing test scores in the public schools.
Kenny Enny was selected to serve on the school board to fill a vacancy. He was removed by teacher’s union activists under the guidance of county schools superintendent James Brescia. An election will be held in March and April.
Enny is one of two candidates running for the position. The other is Angela Hollander, an educator whose children reportedly attend private school. Hollander is endorsed by the Paso Robles teachers union.
Kenny Enny is endorsed by many in the community who are concerned about the tragic quality of education in the Paso Robles school district, and the disturbing test scores which indicate only 20-30% of Paso Robles high school seniors are proficient in math and reading comprehension.
