A stretch of highway 41 closed yesterday morning after a semi-trailer truck carrying motor oil overturned on the roadway. The motor oil was stacked on pallets.
The accident occurred a 11:22 Saturday night on highway 41 about five miles east of the Cholame Y.
Caltrans closed the roadway for several hours. That closure created a detour from the Kern county line to a mile north of the junction with highway 33.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
