The Templeton Community Services District met last week to discuss the adoption of impact fees for the expansion of its fire station.
The fire station was deemed inadequate earlier this year for the current and future needs of the Templeton community. A six million dollar expansion has been proposed. About 3 million of that estimated is reduced by existing impact fee revenues.
The proposed impact fees were were estimated to be around 1200 dollars per thousand square feet for residential development, and 1900 dollars per thousand square feet for non-residential development.
The Templeton CSD voted unanimously to adopt the impact fees, which will be effective November 4th, 2023.
