Cal Fire is tentatively targeting Friday, December 15th through Saturday, December 16th for a vegetation burn along Diablo Canyon road just northwest of Avila Beach.
The burn is being conducted in cooperation with Diablo Canyon fire department, PG&E, and the San Luis Obispo county air pollution control district. 276 acres of coastal sage and oak woodlands will be burned, starting at 9:45 am and concluding by 6 pm.
Cal Fire says smoke may be visible from Morro Bay to Oceano for a few days after the burn has been completed.
