The Cholame Y was closed for several hours yesterday because of a wildfire. The fire burned 280 acres in the area.
The fires were first reported around 4:30 as a series of fires along highway 41 near Cottonwood Pass.
The fire forced closure of the Cholame Y and sections of highway 41 yesterday afternoon until they brought it under control. The Cholame Y was reopened around 6:15.
