In outer space, Cal Poly graduate and now astronaut, Victor Glover took a six hour walk in space yesterday. A NASA official described the video transmitted from space yesterday.
Victor Glover is the son of a police officer from the Inland Empire. He studied aeronautical engineering at Cal Poly. He’s one of several Cal Poly graduate to travel to the moon or international space station with the US space program.
He’s one of the few African-American astronauts in the US space program. Glover attended Cal Poly on a wrestling scholarship.
