Another blustery wet day today in the north county. This storm delays work to repair and reopen highway 41.
That roadway is closed on the Atascadero side at San Gabriel road. Residents who live further west can access their homes, but giant mud slides block the roadway to Morro Bay.
Souza Construction will likely not be working today because of the rain, but they are still planning to have highway 41 reopened for the weekend.
Otherwise, you’re advised to drive carefully if you’re out and about today.
The rain will taper off tonight, and tomorrow will be less hazardous.
