The fourth of July is this Thursday, with many opportunities to celebrate in San Luis Obispo county.
The Paso Robles Fourth of July Celebration will take place at Barney Schwartz park from 2 to 10 pm. Activities start at 2, live music begins at 5:30, and fireworks kick off at 9:15 pm.
The Atascadero 4th of July Music Festival will be at the lake park from 4 to 8 pm. Celebrate Independence Day with great live music, boating, food, and more. Music begins at 4 pm.
Templeton’s Celebration goes from 7 am to 3 pm, beginning with the Templeton fire department’s pancake breakfast from 7 am to 10 pm. Then, enjoy festivities for free with the hometown parade from 1st to 8th streets, and finish off with live music in the Templeton park.
Cambria will be holding an Independence Day picnic at the Shamel Park from 11 am to 5 pm.
Cayucos will be having a 4th of July Celebration all day from 10 am to 9 pm at North Ocean avenue. The street fair will be open all day, and fireworks will be on display at the historic Cayucos pier.
Morro Bay will be holding its Art in the Park event at 747 Morro Bay boulevard from July 5th to the 7th. The annual show offers over a thousand booths for artists and craftspeople, with a variety of food and drink available.
And in San Luis Obispo on July 3rd, fireworks will be displayed after the San Luis Obispo Blues face the Santa Barbara Foresters in a baseball game at 900 Southwood drive.
