In Santa Barbara over the weekend, a fire that started in a homeless camp spread to the work yard of a nearby business early Saturday morning.
The homeless camp was located next to the railroad tracks at Bath and Montecito streets.
The fire began in the bushes and spread to the yard of a nearby business. It burned vegetation, a shed and some tools in the yard that belonged to Donovan Electric.
Firefighters had to cut some fencing in the area to access the fire. The railroad tracks were also shut down for a time because of the fire.
