Morro Bay police identify a man who was struck and killed by a trash truck last Thursday.
69-year-old Mark Richard Evans of Twain Harte was hit by the truck as he was crossing Morro Bay boulevard near the roundabout. That was around 12 noon Thursday.
Police arrived and found Evans on the south side of the roundabout.
The garbage truck driver is cooperating with the investigation.
