The preliminary hearing in the murder trial of Paul and Ruben Flores gets underway in San Luis superior court.
The Flores father and son accused in the murder of Cal Poly student Kristin Smart back in 1996.
Yesterday, Kristin smart’s mother took the stand in the preliminary hearing to ascertain the need for a trial. That hearing is expected to last 12-14 days.
