A driver in San Luis Obispo crashed his car into a fire hydrant and a palm tree.
The hydrant broke and sent a geyser of water shooting into the air like old faithful. The motorist traveled another 250 yards and struck the tree.
The driver was taken to a local hospital.
The person will be charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants.
