The San Luis Obispo county office of educators suffered a server breach last week on June 12th.
The breach has potentially exposed the personal and financial information of the office of education’s employees. Employees were offered credit monitoring services at no charge.
Law enforcement is currently working to determine how the system was breached; it can sometimes take weeks or even months to determine how cyberattacks occurred, and exactly what data was stolen.
