The Paso Robles police department released a statement on Friday regarding an armed robbery that took place later in the evening.
At around 7 pm, the department received a report of an armed robbery that occurred at Jersey Mike’s Sandwiches at 2301 Theater drive. A white male adult suspect entered the store with his face covered with a black mask, handing a note to an employee demanding they put all the money in a bag, and lifting his shirt to show them he was armed with a black handgun in the waistband of his pants.
The department says the employee complied, and the suspect exited the store, fleeing to the Target parking lot. The Paso Robles police department says the suspect fled prior to police’s arrival, and they did not locate the suspect.
