The Atascadero city council’s first meeting of the year will be tonight at 6.
On tonight’s agenda is the city’s annual road report for the Measure F-14 sales tax. This report is required every year, detailing the previous fiscal year’s activities related to the tax’s use. It is reviewed by the citizens’ sales tax oversight committee prior to council’s approval.
The report says the total measure F-14 sales tax revenue for the previous fiscal year was about $3.2 million. A total of $5.5 million was spent on five projects during the previous fiscal year as well, with the costs primarily split between the 2024 pavement rehabilitation and pavement resurfacing projects.
At the end of the previous fiscal year, about $1.1 million remain in the f-14 sales tax projects fund, which will carry forward into this current fiscal year.
You can attend tonight’s meeting in person, or listen right here on KPRL.
