The Atascadero police department announced they arrested a suspect motorist earlier this week on the morning of December 14th.
The department says they responded to a report of theft from a vehicle on the 9400 block of Alcotan Lane. Officers contacted a motorist leaving the area, determining they were in possession of several stolen items, including property reported by the original victim.
The department says other residents in the area reported several stolen items from their vehicles, which was subsequently returned thanks to these reports. However, there are still several unclaimed items of value, being held for safekeeping.
