Yesterday morning, Atascadero police responded to a report of an armed robbery on south end of El Camino Real. Specifically, the 10200 block of El Camino.
Officers saw the suspect flee on foot into an adjacent apartment complex.
Police established a perimeter and asked for assistance from the CHP and county sheriff’s office. Ten police, sheriff’s and CHP vehicles surrounded the apartment complex off El Camino Real. A CHP helicopter arrived around ten Sunday morning and also circled the area.
A search of the apartment complex did not locate the suspect.
The police are looking for a suspect who robbed at gunpoint several people on three separate incidents Saturday night and Sunday morning in Atascadero.
They believe the suspect may be a juvenile.
