Although most of the applause at Tuesday’s meeting celebrated the election of three progressives to the board of supervisors. Several elected department heads also took the oath of office, including county tax assessor Tom Bordonaro.
Bordonaro says he and his staff performing a job no one wants, assessing their tax. He complimented his staff and county employees in general for their effective service.
At the outset, Tom Bordonaro said he would only speak a couple minutes, and he spoke only two minutes, on the nose.
