Burning will begin today around Hearst San Simeon state park to clear brush. California state parks to begin pile burning around seven this morning and continue until five. And that will be the plan today though the 17th, weather permitting.
The burning will take place in the vicinity of the Washburn campground. That’s in Cambria’s Monterey Pine forest.
