The California Transportation Commission announced that 1.7 billion dollars has been allocated to improve safety, increase mobility for all users, and strengthen the state highway system.
2.1 million dollars among these funds have been allocated to continue embankment repairs on highway 46 west, five miles east of highway 1 near Cambria in San Luis Obispo county.
In addition to these allocations, 86.5 million dollars have been allocated to repair vital roadways and other infrastructure damaged during the recent wildfires and storms in southern California.
