Paul Flores’ petition to review his conviction has been denied by the California supreme court.
District attorney Dan Dow announced this in a release yesterday afternoon, saying that Flores appealed his 2022 conviction to the second district court of appeal.
In October 2025, the court of appeal issued a written opinion that affirmed the 2022 conviction, the DA’s office says.
The jury was held in the Monterey county superior court due to a defense motion to change the venue from San Luis Obispo county.
