The Cayucos pier has once again been closed to the public due to recent damage.
Another piling broke away during the recent high surf advisory; the pier was closed earlier this year in February due to piling damage suffered by the winter storms.
The county says they plan to remove the last 15 feet of the pier, as the rest of it is in good shape.
