The $308 billion dollar state budget governor Gavin Newsom signed into law in late June allocates three million dollars for the city of Paso Robles “To make Creston road safer for pedestrians and cyclists. It will also beautify the corridor with streetscape enhancement. And the money will go to improve conditions for transit, motorists and businesses.”
That budget also includes 2.5 million dollars to help the land conservancy of San Luis Obispo county to permanently preserve the Camatta Ranch in Santa Margarita. That 32,000 acre ranch located west of the Carizzo plain dates back to 1846.
