Yesterday, the nation of Denmark cancels most restrictions related to the covid pandemic. It says covid-19 is no longer a socially critical disease.
It’s the first nation in the European Union to eliminate restrictions, but several Scandinavian countries have been far less strict than California in dealing with covid.
Officials say that although the omicron variant is surging, it’s not placing a heavy burden on the health system.
