The El Camino Homeless Organization extends its gratitude to the support by the community in its Empty Bowls fundraiser that took place in April.
A release by ECHO says over 400 individuals attended this year’s events, and raised over a hundred thousand dollars to support ECHO’s programs that help individuals and families secure stable housing.
ECHO CEO Wendy Lewis said: “The proceeds from this event will continue to help those on their journey back into stable housing through both of our campuses.”
ECHO says that in 2024 alone, they’ve made a tangible impact on the lives of over 80 individuals and families in the community by assisting them in successfully finding housing.
