This election is an expensive one for some candidates. Supervisor Bruce Gibson collected one half million dollars for his campaign for re-election. It’s the first election he’s faced since the death of his ally, supervisor Adam Hill, who died of a drug overdose.
The Tribune reports that Hill was accused of accepting bribes, which may be true, but it’s an understatement. Helios Dayspring admitted paying Hill thousands of dollars for his votes on cannabis projects. So, that accusation reported by the Tribune looks to be a gross understatement.
