According to documents detailing the resignation agreement regarding former Paso Robles high school principal Megan Fletcher, she received a $40,000 payout for her resignation.
In early November, Fletcher was arrested on campus at the high school after she allegedly drove to work under the influence, and was placed on paid administrative leave. The resignation documents for Fletcher’s leave says she remained on paid administrative leave through November 30th, then switching to unpaid leave, which will last through June 30, 2026.
The district paid Fletcher a $40,000 lump sum as part of the agreement, and will continue to pay her health benefits until June 30, 2026. The document also states that the district and Fletcher each paid for their own attorney’s fees.
