It’s finally official. The county clerk recorder certifies the results of the Paso Robles school board election between Kenny Enney and Angela Hollander. Kenny Enney wins by over 10% of the vote.
You may remember, Kenny was selected from a group of applicants to fill a vacant position on the board. Then a school district employee working with the county schools superintendent circulated petitions to remove Enney and conduct an election. The school district employee was Carey Alvord Shopf. She has reportedly resigned from the Paso Robles school district.
The Paso Robles school election cost the school district somewhere between $150 thousand and $450 thousand dollars. Those were the estimates. The final cost has not been released.
Regardless, Kenny will rejoin the school board. The district office says he will join the school board at the meeting next Tuesday.
