The disappearance and unsolved murder of Kristin Smart is going to be featured tomorrow night on “48 Hours”.
The alleged murder occurred 24 years ago on or near the Cal Poly campus.
The program features interviews with Kristin Smart’s friends and family.
As you might expect, much of the episode focuses on Paul Flores, the last person to see Kristin alive. He’s been a person of interest in the case for 24 years.
In fact, there’s been no other suspect.
Kristin Smart was last seen on May 25th, 1996, walking home with Flores from a party off campus toward the dorms.
A month later, four dogs trained to search for human remains each independently led police to Paul Flores’ dorm room.
Kristin Smart’s remains have never been found.
The 48 Hours special will be aired at ten tomorrow night on CBS TV.
