One sad note this morning, which is probably not news to you. KPRL’s strongest talk show host, Rush Limbaugh died yesterday after fighting lung cancer. His wife, Kathryn, made the announcement yesterday on the air.
He developed his talk show while working at KFBK in Sacramento in 1984. KPRL was among the first 30 affiliates when Rush took his show national in 1988.
Officials with the Excellence In Broadcasting network say they will continue using guests hosts mixed with some of Limbaugh’s finest moments.
It may take several weeks before they decide who or what will replace Rush Limbaugh, knowing full well, no one can take his place.
