Flights from San Luis Obispo airport to Los Angeles and San Diego are suspended. A new hub in Oregon has been postponed. United suspended it’s flights between Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo and southern California. Alaska Airlines delays a third planned new flight to Portland out of San Luis Obispo. That was scheduled to begin operating in June. It will not begin until the fall. Parking fees at the San Luis airport have dropped from 200 to 250 thousand dollars a month, to only $2,000 per month.
A former resident of San Luis Obispo accuses presidential candidate Joe Biden of sexual assault. The sexual assault occurred in 1993 when Tara Reade worked for the senator. Reade made a complaint in 1993, and resigned from her position. Her mother called Larry King live back in 1993 to complain about the senator.
The Fair Political Practices commission sends a letter to supervisor Bruce Gibson, saying he needs to update his understanding of the law. Then they closed the case. A complaint was filed in 2018 about the supervisor voting on issues where the decision could influence the financial value of the official’s property.
Today (Monday), the city of Atascadero is beginning a road resurfacing project. Which will continue through May. They’ll start today on Ardilla road and Curbaril avenue near the train tracks. They’ll also mill and overlay San Anselmo road and Ardilla road.
