The Paso Robles police department announced they have arrested a suspect in the armed robbery case that took place on Sunday.
On Sunday at around 1:30 pm, a 19-year-old Paso Robles resident was robbed in the parking lot of AMPM on Niblick road.
Allegedly, the thief hit the 19-year-old over the head with a firearm that discharged during the assault. The victim was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Early Monday morning, Paso police located and arrested the suspect in Madera: 22-year-old Isaac Adrian Ramirez. He was transported to the San Luis Obispo county jail, booked on charges of assault with a firearm, robbery, and attempted carjacking.
His bail is set to 500 thousand dollars.
