A suspect arrested in San Miguel yesterday in a shooting which occurred Saturday afternoon in Paso Robles.
The shooting incident occurred shortly after noon Saturday. Paso Robles police received a call about a shooting in the 1000 block of Dorothy street.
Police found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the side of his head. The victim was conscious and able to identify the shooter. The victim was transported to Sierra Vista hospital in San Luis where he underwent surgery for serious injuries
Yesterday, 20-year-old Carlos Luis Chavez was arrested on felony charges of attempted murder and being a felon in possession of a handgun.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Chavez while walking in San Miguel.
