DUI checkpoint press release 2-13-26
The Paso Robles police department announced there will be a DUI checkpoint held within city limits on Friday, February 13th from 6 pm to 2 am at an undisclosed location.
DUI checkpoint locations are chosen based off data showing incidents of impaired driving related crashes. The purpose is to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off the road.
Driving under the influence is not just from alcohol. Some over-the-counter drugs and medication may interfere with driving, and driving under the influence of marijuana is illegal.
