The Paso Robles police department is recognizing a community member for “demonstrating outstanding integrity and honesty.”
The department posted this recognition four days ago, saying that the citizen found a significant amount of lost money and promptly returned it to the police department. The rightful owner of the money was successfully identified, and the money was returned.
“The owner expressed immense gratitude, as the loss occurred just before the holidays and was believed to be gone forever,” the department says. Both parties wished to remain anonymous, but the police department still thanks this citizen for their honesty, character, and commitment to helping others.
