Thousands of locals and visitors turned out for the 91st edition of the Pioneer Day parade. It dates back to 1931. And again this year, lots of antique tractors rolled down main street.
Several bands played, including Paso Robles and atascadero’s high school bands. Two posses turned out. The San Luis Obispo county sheriff’s posse and the King county sheriff’s posse.
After the parade, people lined up for the free bean feed. Again this year, former mayor Duane Picanco got up early to stir the beans. He’s been doing this for 50 years
