News Release – DEC16 – Willow Creek
A cultural burn is scheduled to take place Tuesday, December 16th near Vineyard drive and highway 46 in Paso Robles.
The burn will be held on the Willow Creek Conservancy, hosted by the Salinan tribe of Monterey and San Luis Obispo county, with support from upper Salinas Las Tablas resource conservation district, Cal Fire San Luis Obispo, and the SLO county APCD. Smoke will be visible in nearby communities on the day of the burns.
Timing depends on weather and air quality conditions. If conditions are not ideal, the burns may be rescheduled.
