Three protests were held this weekend throughout San Luis Obispo county in response to the shooting in Minneapolis early last week.
The demonstrations, called the “ICE out for good” weekend of action, were hosted by the Indivisible SLO Coalition. A candlelight vigil was held at the Atascadero lake yesterday afternoon, a protest in San Luis Obispo Sunday morning at highway 1 and Kansas avenue, and one in Los Osos on Saturday at noon at Los Osos Valley road and South Bay boulevard.
