Estero Bay Station #16 under construction
Cal Fire announced that the Estero Bay Station in Cayucos will be temporarily under construction for structural and cosmetic upgrades.
Personnel from the station will be temporarily moving to Cal Fire Cayucos Station #11 at Chaney avenue, performing business as usual.
The improvements are intended to transform the two apparatus doors to create one wider door, allowing the station to receive its newly ordered fire engine.
Work is estimated to be done by mid July 2024.
