A San Luis Obispo driver arrested in a fatal hit and run accident.
29-year-old Eduardo Torrez struck a 23-year-old bicyclist Saturday night and then fled the scene. A second vehicle struck the cyclist, but that driver stopped and remained at the scene.
Torres was arrested at a home nearby. He was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
The accident occurred around nine Saturday night at the intersection of South Higuera and Prado road at the south end of San Luis Obispo.
