County district attorney Dan Dow announced that a jury has found 56-year-old Jenky Bueno of San Luis Obispo guilty of felony stalking, and violating restraining orders.
The DA’s office says Bueno and the victim in this case had been dating for about a year and a half, separating in the spring of 2023. However, later that year, Bueno began to follow, harass, and berate the victim, repeatedly showing up at her residence uninvited, following her in public places that she frequented day and night.
The victim demanded Bueno leave her alone, but his behavior continued, and included disparaging phone calls, text messages, and social media communication. The victim requested and received a domestic relations restraining order in 2024, which Bueno violated on multiple occasions.
He faces a maximum of 3 years in state prison, and his sentencing hearing is scheduled for January 12th.
