The search continues for five year old Kyle Doan. The San Miguel boy still missing since he was swept away by flood waters a week ago Monday morning.
The weather frustrated searchers Saturday and most of Sunday, but the effort resumed Sunday afternoon. The San Luis Obispo county sheriff’s dive team and search and rescue are coordinating the search. Help from the national guard and outside agencies was called off late last week.
Searchers found articles which came from the vehicle in which five year old Kyle Doan was riding in when the flood water swept him away from his mother. But still no sign of the boy.
Search teams said the water levels dropped in the San Marcos creek and Salinas river, which is allowing them to search in new areas.
