Yesterday morning, a section of highway 46 near the Cholame Y was closed, according to CHP.
CHP says a semi-truck with a trailer attempted to make a u-turn on the highway, but ended up getting stuck and blocking both lanes of the 46 east.
CHP announced on social media they were utilizing one way traffic control to continue the flow of vehicles, and advised drivers to not travel off the paved roadway.
The closure was first announced after 9:30 am, and lifted just after 11 am.
