Later today, the San Luis Obispo county health department will give an update on coronavirus in the county.
On Friday, Dr. Penny Borenstien reported 19 new cases of covid. The city of San Luis Obispo again leading the way with 6 cases. Paso Robles had four. San Miguel and Templeton on each. None reported in Atascadero.
No deaths reported. In fact, no deaths reported for people with coronavirus so far in the month of April.
The county officials are reporting the theft of thousands of dollars worth of personal protective equipment from their covid testing clinic in Nipomo. The theft occurred at the Nipomo testing clinic between Friday April second and Monday April fifth.
The items included hand sanitizers, surgical masks, gowns and other sanitizing items.
