The county sheriff’s office responded to a report of a man who was found dead in the driveway of his home.
The report came in on Friday, April 19th at approximately 4 pm, and the residence is located on the 1900 block of Willow Brook lane in Heritage Ranch. Detectives began an immediate investigation following the report.
A preliminary investigation reveals that the 58-year-old man in his driveway died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A 54-year-old woman was found deceased inside of the home she shared with the deceased man as well. Detectives say that she appears to have been deceased for an extended period of time, however. The cause of her death is unknown, pending autopsy and further investigation.
No further information is available at this time, and the sheriff’s office says there is no threat to public safety.
